Yoshie Shiramizu

Die Pianistin Yoshie SHIRAMIZU wurde in Hyogo, Japan geboren. Nach ihrer Ausbildung an der Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Japan, setzte sie von 2000 ihr Studium an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim bei Prof. Robert Benz (Klavier und Klavierduo) und Prof. Paul Dan (Klavierduo) fort. 2002 schloss sie die Künstlerische Abschlussprüfung mit der Bestnote und 2004 den Studiengang Konzertexamen mit der bestandenen Abschlussprüfung ab. 2006 absolvierte sie auch ihr Aufbaustudium für Klavierduo.

„Die fabelhafte Pianistin Yoshie Shiramizu“ (Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung) gewann den Grand-Prix beim Oberschüler-Musikwettbewerb in Hyogo und den 2. Preis beim Nationalen Jugent-Musikwettbewerb in Japan. Weiterhin gewann sie den 1. Preis beim Concorso Internazionale di Musica Citta di Racconigi in Italien. Beim Beethoven Klavierwettbewerb Richard Laugs in Deutschland und beim Premio Chopin Concorso Internazionale di Musicale in Italien wurde sie jeweils mit dem 2. Preis bei nicht vergabenem 1. Preis ausgezeichnet.

2002 wurde sie als Vollstipendiatin zum Meisterkurs mit Prof. Pierre-Laurent Aimard　zum Lucerne-Festival eingeladen, beim Meisterkurs mit Prof. Volker Banfield wurde sie für hervorragende Leistungen mit dem Ostfriesischen Klavierpreis 2002 ausgezeichnet.

Ausserdem bestand Yoshie Shiramizu erfolgreich das Probespiel für eine Rundfunkaufzeichnung von ABC 2003 in Japan.

Im Jahr 2004 wurde sie als Stipendiatin in der Stiftungen „Chopin-Gesellschaft Hannover“ und „The Nomura Cultural Foundation“ in Japan aufgenommen. Ebenfalls von 2005 bis 2006 war sie Stipendiatin des DAAD.

Yoshie Shiramizu erhielt auch als “Pianoduo DUOR (Yoshie & Takashi)” (seit 2004 zusammen mit dem Pianisten Takashi Fujii, der viele Wettbewerbspreise gewonnen und die Konzerte in der ganzen Welt gegeben hat) den 2. Preis beim London International Music Competition (bei nicht vergabenem 1. Preis) in Grossbritannien und beim Concorso Internazionale Musica da camera Camillo Togni in Italien sowie beim the Music Competition for Contemporary Music in Japan, den 3. Preis beim internationalen Schubert Wettbewerb für Klavierduo in Tschechien. Yoshie & Takashi war Preisträger auch beim 10th. Murray Dranoff International Two Piano Competition in U.S.A. (the Best Performance Prize of the Newly Commissioned Work) und beim Europäischen Kammermusikwettbewerb Karlsruhe in Deutschland.

Sie wurden the Barock Saal prize at Aoyama Music Awards 2006 in Kyoto/Japan, ausgezeichnet.

Sie gab zahlreiche Solo- und Klavierduo- als “Pianoduo DUOR (Yoshie & Takashi)” sowie Kammermusik-konzerte, als auch Konzert mit Orchester (Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester, „Jora“ di Bacau Philharmonie Orchester, Janacek Kammerorchester Ostrava u.a.) in Deutschland, Grossbritannien, Italian, Schweden, Tschechien, U.S.A. und Japan.

Yoshie Shiramizu machte außerdem mehrere Rundfunk- und Fernsehaufnahmen für DeutschlandRadioBerlin, ABC, MXTV, NHK und NHK-BS.

Yoshie Shiramizu ist ein Mitglied in der Million Concert Gesellschaft (Musikagentur) in Japan.

The Pianist Yoshie SHIRAMIZU was born in Hyogo, Japan. After graduation from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Japan, she continued her studies from 2000 at the Staatliche Hochschule fuer Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim, Germany with Prof. Robert Benz (piano and piano duo) and Prof. Paul Dan (piano duo).

She completed postgraduate studies with the best mark in 2002, her „Konzertexamen” in 2004 and finished postgraduate studies for piano duo as well in 2006.

“The marvelous Pianist Yoshie Shiramizu” (the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung) won Grand Prix in the Music Competition for High school Student in Hyogo, the second prize in the National Student Music Competition in Japan. Likewise the first prize in the Concorso Internazionale di Musica Citta di Racconigi in Italy, the second prize (no the first prize) both in the Beethoven Piano Competition Richard Laugs in Germany and in the Premio Chopin Concorso Internazionale di Musicale in Italy.

2002 in Lucerne Festival she was invited as a scholar to the master course with Prof. Pierre-Laurent Aimard, and won in the course with Prof. Volker Banfield for outstanding achievements with the Ostfriesischer Piano Prize 2002.

In the year 2004 she was accepted as a scholar of “The Chopin Society Hanover” in Germany as well as “The Nomura Cultural Foundation” in Japan and from 2005 to 2006 she was also a DAAD scholar.

Yoshie Shiramizu won also as “Pianoduo DUOR (Yoshie & Takashi)” (since 2004 together with pianist Takashi Fujii, whom was awarded various prizes and who has given already numerous performances through Europe, China and Japan) the second prize in the London International Music Competition in the U.K. (no the first prize), in the Concorso Internazionale Musica da camera Camillo Togni in Italy and in the Music Competition for Contemporary Music in Japan, the third prize in the international Schubert Competition for piano duets in Czech Republic.

They were prizewinners also in the 10th. Murray Dranoff International Two Piano Competition in the U.S.(the Best Performance Prize of the Newly Commissioned Work) and in the European Chamber music Competition Karlsruhe.

She gives performances in various concerts, research activities with piano solo, piano duo as “Pianoduo DUOR (Yoshie & Takashi)”, chamber music and with orchestra (Kurpfaelzische Chamber Orchestra, “Jora” di Bacau Philharmonie Orchestra, Janacek Chamber Orchestra Ostrava a.s.o.) in Germany, the U.K., Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic, the U.S. and Japan.

Additionally the performance of Yoshie Shiramizu was broadcasted among DeutschlandRadioBerlin, ABC, MXTV, NHK and NHK-BS.
